Who’s who: Jean Dujardin

Talented, hilarious, charming. Just a few qualities that perfectly describe Jean Dujardin. 
French actor, he started his career in a talk show in 1996 but we saw him on the big screen for the first time in 2002 with “À l'abri des regards indiscrets”. 

In 2011 we can assist at his breakthrough with “The Artist”. The film received many awards - including the Academic Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role - and Dujardin became really popular in America and in the rest of Europe. He got a role in films with big Hollywood names like Martin Scorsese and Leonardo Di Caprio (“The Wolf Of Wall Street”) or also George Clooney and Bill Murray (“Monuments Men”). 
I think he’s so popular now not only for his talent but also because he’s different. Jean Dujardin is the European man who went to conquer the United States with his sense of humor and its wonderful French charm. He turns the tables in a world made up of six-pack-men.

If you haven't noticed yet, I have a big crush on him. I saw a lot of his films and unfortunately many of them have never been translated (and I don’t understand a single word of French). In these cases, the only thing I can do is just stare at him, at his beautiful brown eyes, his graying hair, his charming hint of beard and thinking that, in my life, I will end up alone (with 27 cats).

I am not a feminist.  Yes, I am a woman and I don't believe in feminism. It's not that I don't believe in equality between men and women, but the word already gives it away: "feminism". Not the best way to express the "lack of differences" between the two genders (which is bullshit, but this is not the purpose of this post).  I am interested in showing how different is for women to go out by themselves. It doesn't matter if it's day or night, if it's in a club on a Saturday night or during a sunny day in a park full of families. It doesn't matter if it's in a city or in a town. If you are not in the company of a "penis-equipped" person, there will always be someone ready to annoy you.  Everything started last weekend when two friends and I decided to make a trip to London to do something different. We were ready to go clubbing, so we left the hostel (in a quite central area of London) and we head to the bus stop.

The Hobbit: The End of an Era.

(Please, read this post listening to this song . Thanks.) It always happen. It's inevitable. Everything has a beginning and an end. I will not ever get used to it. I will never be ready to the end of a saga. But here I am. Talking about the last chapter of " The Hobbit ".  I admit I was really skeptical when I watched for the first time " The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey ". I thought it was a way to make more money and make happy the "Lord of The Rings" fans. But then I changed my mind.  I totally loved these films: I loved Bilbo, Gandalf the Grey, Thorin Oakenshield, the dwarfs. I loved how they popped up at Baggins' house. I loved how Bilbo changed through the movies.  I even loved Thranduil. I pitied Legolas because of his love for Tauriel. And I cried for the impossible love between Tauriel and Kìli (I know it's not in the book but I want to thank Peter Jackson for that).  I'm sad for Smaug. People talked a lot about
