Red Carpet 01:19 GMT

The red carpet is getting empty and all the guests are looking for their places to sit. Here we are. Just a few minutes till the Oscars 2016 begins and Chris Rock will start his monologue. I'll see you after the first award!

Red Carpet 01:07 GMT

"Alejandro has reached something that is quite trascendant" said Leonardo Di Caprio on the Oscars red carpet. "I feel blessed to be able to do movies like this". He is nominated as Best Leading Actor and is one of the favourites to win.

Nominated as Best Actor too, Michael Fassbender is on the red carpet just now.

20 minutes to go!

Red Carpet 00:47 GMT

Julianne Moore is on the red carpet in her Chanel, ladies and gentlemen. She won an Oscar last year, and this time she's gonna present one of the many categories during the show.

Cate Blanchet has arrived on the red carpet as well in her Armani Privè.
45 minutes till the beginning of the ceremony!

Red Carpet 00:29 GMT

I'm just sitting here, eating chocolate, drinking tea, impatient to see other actors arriving on the red carpet. Jennifer Lawrence is not there yet but she's gonna wear a Dior dress. Can't wait to see it!

Now Eddie Redmayne is being interviewed, saying he feels completely out of place because of his outfit. Are you kidding Redmayne? You look amazing as always.

Red Carpet 00:11 GMT

Saoirse Ronan looks absolutely awesome in her Calvin Klein gown on the red carpet! Same thing about Sophie Turner in her Galvan dress.

***

Red Carpet 23.50 GMT
We saw the beautiful Alicia Vikander in Louis Vuitton, Daisy Ridley, Jason Sudeikis and a stunning Olivia Wilde in her ancient Greece look.

Not to talk about the interview on the red carpet to Jacob Tremblay, the 9-year-old actor protagonist of "The Room". Sweetness overload!

Tonight is finally the night. The Oscars are here! I can't wait to watch the ceremony and know who's gonna bring home the coveted statuette.

I'm going to post live the winners and the best parts of the night on this blog, so we can keep up with the show all together.

The only thing left to do is to get ready, get your popcorns and your drinks and let's have fun during the most important night in the showbiz.
