"Bad Blood" by Taylor Swift - REVIEW

It came out a couple of days ago but it already is the video of the year. 

Taylor Swift like no one's ever seen her. 

A sexy soldier ready to avenge women’s world along with other beautiful women such as Cindy Crawford, Karlie Kross, Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez, Hailee Steinfeld and many more. 

Personally I don't like the video. Or more accurately, I don't like the final result of the video. The idea was good, but I find it extremely awkward. Watching it make me immediately realise how it doesn't suit Taylor. 

She looks like a sexy but awkward woman that tries to shake the good girl reputation off from herself and wants to be part of a more progressive world. But it's not for her. Taylor is undoubtedly gorgeous and stunning, but not naughty. The latex dress is not her thing. 

About the video, it let me down because, after all that advertising and the announcement of a great cast, it just was a 4 minutes video with extremely fake fighting moves. 

And also, it doesn't suit the song in any way. It would've been better if it was a sort of short film or something. 

Anyway I find it too similar to another video from 2003: Toxic by Britney Spears. 

As many of you know, in this video Britney covers many roles, among which she's a spy with a latex suit, red hair and lots of "sexy" make-up. 

Don't you notice the similarities?

Copy or not, the video of Bad Blood is definitely below my expectations and, I have to admit it, it's a hard hit to my self-esteem.

I am not a feminist.  Yes, I am a woman and I don't believe in feminism. It's not that I don't believe in equality between men and women, but the word already gives it away: "feminism". Not the best way to express the "lack of differences" between the two genders (which is bullshit, but this is not the purpose of this post).  I am interested in showing how different is for women to go out by themselves. It doesn't matter if it's day or night, if it's in a club on a Saturday night or during a sunny day in a park full of families. It doesn't matter if it's in a city or in a town. If you are not in the company of a "penis-equipped" person, there will always be someone ready to annoy you.  Everything started last weekend when two friends and I decided to make a trip to London to do something different. The Hobbit: The End of an Era.

(Please, read this post listening to this song . Thanks.) It always happen. It's inevitable. Everything has a beginning and an end. I will not ever get used to it. I will never be ready to the end of a saga. But here I am. Talking about the last chapter of " The Hobbit ".  I admit I was really skeptical when I watched for the first time " The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey ". I thought it was a way to make more money and make happy the "Lord of The Rings" fans. But then I changed my mind.  I totally loved these films: I loved Bilbo, Gandalf the Grey, Thorin Oakenshield, the dwarfs. I loved how they popped up at Baggins' house. I loved how Bilbo changed through the movies.  I even loved Thranduil. I pitied Legolas because of his love for Tauriel.
