72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards.

The Golden Globes were held in Beverly Hills last night, 11th January 2015.
It is one of the most important award ceremony for films and television, along with the Emmys and the Oscars.

Hosts: Amy Poehler and Tina Fey

Last night was a really special night. Amy Poehler and Tina Fey hosted the ceremony for the last time  (they hosted the show together also in 2014 and 2013). That's why they dared so much, with jokes about Bill Cosby and North Korea, surprising the audience.

Even Ricky Gervais, that looked a bit drunk, made several veiled (but not that much) accusations.

Let's see a few jokes the two hosts made during the show.

  • Tina: Tonight we celebrate all the great television shows we know and love, as well as all the movies that North Korea was O.K. with.
  • Tina: George Clooney married Amal Alamuddin this year. Amal is a human-rights lawyer, who worked on the Enron case, was an advisor to Kofi Annan regarding Syria, and was selected for a three-person U.N. commission investigating rules of war violations in the Gaza Strip. So tonight, her husband is getting a lifetime-achievement award.
  • Amy: In "Into the Woods", Cinderella runs from her prince, Rapunzel is thrown from a tower for her prince, and Sleeping Beauty just thought she was getting coffee with Bill Cosby.
