10 curiosities you have to know about The Avengers: Age of Ultron
Are you excited to watch Marvel's new movie "Avengers: Age of Ultron"? Well, me too.
I waited for so long and finally the day is close!
Before watching it, here are 10 curiosities you must know about the Behind-the-Scenes.
1) To avoid Scarlett Johansson's baby bump being seen, the production casted three stand-ins of the beautiful actress. It confounded people on set, especially Chris Evans, who confused one of the doubles with his long-time friend.
2) Tony Stark will be armoured in his Mark XLIII, the new version of the Mark 42. What are the differences? Exchangeable face, LED light-up eyes, arc reactor and a new range of repulsors. 3) James Spader, who will play Ultron, was chosen for this role thanks to his "calming and hypnotic voice".
4) In Seoul, to film the most extreme and special scenes, they used drones and remote control cars.
5) The costumes used in the film were created by the sports clothing line Under Armour in
collaboration with Alexandra Byrne, Oscar-winning costume designer.
6) Ultron was created as the evil side of Pinocchio. A high-tech puppet who turns against the
man who built him. The comparison is most evident in the teaser of the film, where they
used the Disney theme "I've Got No Strings".
7) Also in the movie Ultron is not created by Hank Pym, like in the original comics, but it was built by Tony Stark. Ironically, Robert Downey Jr is in the Disney wish-list to play Geppetto, Pinocchio's father, in the Pinocchio live action.
8) It took a year to Joss Whedon to convince Aaron-Taylor Johnson to play Quicksilver. The 25-year-old actor was worried about the intensity of Marvel's contracts.
9) In this movie, Robert Downey Jr will be grabbed by the neck for the fifth time. This time it will be Thor's fault. 10) They started filming the movie on the 22nd February 2014 in South Africa and finished in August 2014 at Pinewood studios. The shooting took place in England, Valle D'Aosta, South Korea, Bangladesh, New York and other places in the U.K.
