Avengers: Age Of Ultron [SPOILER ALERT]

Image
It happened. I finally watched "Avengers: Age of Ultron".  What can I say? It was epic, like all Marvel's movies, but I have a couple of things to say.  I absolutely love the beginning. It's classic Marvel-style. And I also liked the party scene.  It was a different way of seeing our heroes. No armours, no shields, no cloaks.  Just the Avengers in a "normal" life context. For the first time we saw Black Widow having feelings for someone. Furthermore, we saw again my beloved Falcon/Sam Wilson who I missed so much.  These scenes made " Avengers: Age of Ultron" feel different from any other Marvel films. But unfortunately, it didn't last for the whole movie.  Just watch the last scene of the film to understand what I mean.  I would divide the final battle in two part: the already-seen part and the epic part. The beginning of the battle is something that remind me the last scenes of "Captain America: The Winter Sol

#KylieJennerChallenge

Image
During the last week, the hashtag #KylieJennerChallenge has become really popular on Twitter, followed by videos or pictures that depict girls of all ages creating a vacuum with jars trying to imitate the lips of the famous-but-we-don't-know-why girl. Now, the web is full with stuff like that: First of all, how did this thing become a trend? And more importantly, why? It is extremely dangerous for the health and it can cause permanent damage to the lips. I found loads of pictures with bruises or worse that I will not post on this blog because are too extreme and disgusting. Society makes people famous because of its stupidity and ignorance. That's how people like Kylie Jenner are famous and adored worldwide. She is 17, she had more surgery than Sylvester Stallone and she's famous just because her parents are Bruce and Kris Jenner (that Kris Jenner, famous because she gave birth to Kourtney, Kim and Khloé Kardashian). Amongst all these awful videos,

10 curiosities you have to know about The Avengers: Age of Ultron

Image
Are you excited to watch Marvel's new movie "Avengers: Age of Ultron"? Well, me too. I waited for so long and finally the day is close! Before watching it, here are 10 curiosities you must know about the Behind-the-Scenes. 1) To avoid Scarlett Johansson's baby bump being seen, the production casted three stand-ins of the beautiful actress. It confounded people on set, especially Chris Evans, who confused one of the doubles with his long-time friend. 2) Tony Stark will be armoured in his Mark XLIII , the new version of the Mark 42 . What are the differences? Exchangeable face, LED light-up eyes, arc reactor and a new range of repulsors. 3) James Spader, who will play Ultron, was chosen for this role thanks to his "calming and hypnotic voice". 4) In Seoul, to film the most extreme and special scenes, they used drones and remote control cars. 5) The costumes used in the film were created by the sports clothing line Unde

Girl Crush: Emilia Clarke

Image
Today I would like to talk about Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen in "Game of Thrones").  I have to say that I'm not a huge fan of GoT and that I'm still watching the second season but Emilia Clarke is one of the reasons why I keep watching it.  I have a crush on her character. As Emilia said:  "Throughout the season she’s had an insane transformation from someone who barely even spoke and timidly did everything her brother said into a mother of dragons and a queen of armies and a killer of slave masters."  Well, that's a life goal.  I absolutely love her character's style, especially that long and blond/white hair. I even thought I might dye my hair like hers at a certain point in my life.  But Emilia is more than her character. In fact, she looks totally different because of her long brown/dark hair. Even in her everyday life she's just outstanding. Normal clothes, make-up free, and she's still beautiful. How does she do

How to ruin hipster posts

Image
You just need a cool photo and a stupid sentence that has nothing to do with the background to have a hipster picture that everyone will share on their social network. It makes them feel smart.  But what if someone would add a caption to these pictures? Here there are some hilarious results.

Poldark and the Missing Shirt.

Image
I think it should be the name of the second season of " Poldark " ( BBCOne ). Yes because with the exception of the first episode, if I'm not wrong, Ross Poldark (Aidan Turner) always finds a good reason to be shirtless.  At this point, I'm not complaining at all. But there's a triumph of hormones across the U.K. every Sunday, no matter if you're 14 or 90.  Mr Turner didn't even go to the gym to play this role. He is not the stereotypical man "all abs, no talent". He has no waxed or huge chest. But he has that sex appeal that will make you fall at his feet. And he's extremely talented. He jumps from a role to another, challenging himself by playing characters that are always different.  He goes from this... ... to this...  ... And this... ... And this one... ... let's not forget about this one... ... And obviously, this one... ... Should I give up with my degree and become a make-up artist? I'm a

BREAKING NEWS: Student receives his grades and doesn't post them on Facebook!

Image
A student, called X, having gone to university (just like every day) and completed all his work (just like every day), decided NOT to post his marks on Facebook. Scandal! The university remained outraged by his behavior and almost expelled him. In fact, believe it or not, it's tradition that all the students posts their grades on the social network, no matter if you're interested or not. I know you're thinking he refused to inform the world about his results because he probably had a low score and he is ashamed of himself. But surprisingly, it's not like that. The real reason is that he is firmly convinced that no one cares about his grades. And you know what? He is absolutely correct! If you go to university, it means that you can afford it and you want a better future, so it's perfectly normal doing your best and having good grades. I would totally understand if it was your last term. You finished and you want to scream to the whole world that

Italy's 'Tangentopoli' Scandal - 1992.

Image
“1992”.  For many of you it’s just a number, or more likely, a year. What happened? Probably you’re thinking about the separation of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, or that John Major was Prime Minister, or even Britain’s infamous currency crash. But during 1992, in another EU nation, a crisis was brewing - the year when Italy became aware of the corruption inside her political world and, moreover, the year when the biggest political scandal in history came to light. On the left: Antonio Di Pietro, Gherardo Colombo and Francesco Saverio Borrelli. “ Mani Pulite ” (literally “clean hands”), better known as Tangentopoli, was an investigation that, before it was over, would see many influential members of Italy’s political and industrial spheres imprisoned for the first (and not the last) time.  Everything started on the 17th of February, when Antonio Di Pietro, the prosecutor who started the investigations, arrested Mario Chiesa, a member of the PSI (Italian Socialist
